The Fisker EMotion is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle produced by Fisker Inc. It is the second car manufactured by Fisker Automotive and the first one is Fisker Karma. The prototype was unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in January 2018.
The 2023 Fisker EMotion is an all-wheel-drive sedan designed by Henrik Fisker of Fisker Inc. The car will have a range of 500 miles (805 km) on a single charge, which can be completed in as little as 5 minutes with its fast charging system. The battery pack will be located under the floor to preserve interior space and will consist of three lithium ion battery modules rated at 800 volts supplying up to 80 kilowatts of power to the front axle and 45 kW to the rear axle.
Each module contains 432 pouch cells, each with a capacity of 3.1 Ah, totaling over 8,000 cells. The car will accelerate from 0–60 mph (0–97 km/h) in under 2.7 seconds, while remaining quiet and comfortable at all speeds thanks to its use of active noise cancellation and other sound deadening methods.
